Program Description

With the recent developments of ChatGPT and AI image generators, it's clear that AI is going to impact how we work, play and live. This presentation will include basic overview of the history of Artificial Intelligence, examples and demonstrations of key tools, and their implications for the future.

Learning outcomes:

  • Participants will be able to define the key terms, understand the limits, and how AI can support existing services.

Presenter Bio

Megan Hammond has been working in libraries for more than 20 years. She joined the State Library in 2016, and has been the Library Development Administrator since 2022. She lives in Surprise with her husband, 7 children, and 2 dogs.
