Application Procedure

Applicants, please send your application to the Horner Fellowship Committee at horner.fellowship@azla.org

Your application packet should consist of:

1.     This application form
2.     A current resume
3.     A Letter of Application, which should address:
        a.   A valid and serious purpose for making the exchange
        b.  The expected benefits of the exchange for your career development
        c.   The contribution the proposed exchange will make to Arizona Librarians
4.     The name, address, phone number and e-mail address of three professional references.
5.     A letter of support from the applicant's current Library Director, Chief Administrator, or direct supervisor which should address:
        a.   The administrator's confidence in the applicant as an exchange Fellow
        b.   A willingness to support a leave of absence for the exchange (if applicable)
        c.   A willingness to host/support a Japanese Librarian exchange in the future
